About Fabrice Lamego

A native of Guadeloupe, French West Indies, Fabrice Lamego had been dancing for eleven years when he began studying Pilates in New York in 1997. In 2002, he completed his Polestar® certification under the tutelage of Brent Anderson and began teaching later that year. His approach to Pilates is deeply influenced by the body awareness and movement consciousness developed during his career as a dancer and choreographer. He has since used Pilates to become a better and stronger dancer, enhancing his understanding of the body while preventing injuries.

In 2009, Fabrice became a Master Instructor for Balanced Body Education. Since 2010, he has been the owner and director of Pilates Pour Tous Studio in Lyon, France, where he also runs the education department.

In 2015, Fabrice enrolled in a two-year postgraduate mentorship program with Kathy Corey in Lausanne — an experience he describes with gratitude:

“I’m very grateful to have done this program. It was such an honor to work with Kathy, which helped me deepen my understanding of the method.”

Fabrice is proud to serve on the Board of Directors of the Pilates Heritage Congress, contributing to the advancement and promotion of the Pilates Method worldwide.
