About Suus Janssen

Suus completed her education with the Pilates Company-NL, the Pilates Institute-UK, and Polestar Pilates-US. Since 2010, she has also been a faculty trainer and host site for Balanced Body (US).

In 2008, she participated in the intensive two-year Pilates Master Mentor Program with Lolita San Miguel, one of the Pilates Elders. Upon completion, she became the first in the Netherlands — and among the few worldwide — to be recognized as a 2nd generation Pilates Teacher, directly trained and mentored by Lolita.

At her own educational center and studio, Pilates United, Suus teaches and trains future Pilates instructors.

In 2016, Suus was selected as one of only eight international participants for Kathy Corey’s Master Mentor Program. Since then, they have continued to work closely together on various programs and modules. Kathy has also invited Suus to join her team of teachers and educators to carry forward the Kathy Corey Pilates Teacher Training (KCP).

Suus has been involved with the Pilates Heritage Congress since its very first edition in 2009, launched with Lolita San Miguel, and she proudly continues her support and involvement in this international event alongside Kathy Corey.
