About Nagi Takahashi

She holds the distinction of being the first visiting instructor from Asia for Pilates Anytime. In 2013, she opened her own studio, Pilates Studio Rebirth, in Tokyo.

Nagi has presented at international conferences in Korea, China, and the United States. Since 2014, she has also worked with Cirque du Soleil artists during their shows in Japan, supporting them with Pilates-based training.

Her recent education includes the Postgraduate Mentor Program with Master Teacher Kathy Corey — an intensive two-year program designed to deepen the understanding of the Pilates Technique. Nagi was one of only eight teachers selected for this program and frequently assists Kathy at international conferences. She will soon become an educator for Kathy’s certification program.

Beyond teaching, Nagi serves as an interpreter and tour guide for visiting international instructors. She frequently travels to the United States and Europe to continue her own education and leads workshops across Japan, acting as a bridge between Japanese teachers and the global Pilates community.

Nagi is highly regarded for the precision she brings to the Pilates Method and is admired for her beautiful movements and creative teaching style.
